I was in Sweden for a WeSC sales meeting and extended my trip to travel and see some cool sights. Funny how timing works and I had just finished reading the book, "Just Kids" by Patti Smith. The Fotografiska museum in Stockholm had a few great exhibits going on that I was able to checkout, one being all the photographs from Robert Mapplethorpe's portfolio. He was Patti's lover turned homosexual best friend. He mainly shot New York's gay scene in the 1980s as well as tons of photos of Patti. I wanted to share some of his work...didn't want to get toooo graphic, but the exhibit was definitely something I'd never seen before.
