Alexander Wang stopped making this style bag. I'm mad at him right now....can't find it anywhere...if you can, let me know! Apparently its sold out and they are not reproducing it anymore. (I asked Wang corp what the deal is) Its funny how many retailers are not online these days?!! You'd think they would all get their shit together and post what they have in their shops online as well! Makes sense for 1,000 times the traffic....well not foot traffic, but you get the idea.

rebecca minkoff event.

Last Thursday was the kickoff to the Rebecca Minkoff event at Henri Bendels for the next 2 weeks. Rebecca herself along with her team of marketing and sales guru's were there to celebrate and make sure everything was running smoothly. They were passing out champagne as well as the most delicious mini cupcakes you've ever had while you shopped and checked out her new Spring 2010 collection. Fashion bloggers and editors were snapping pictures and blogging live at the scene.

Here's a shot of Rebecca Minkoff, Maria an editor there and myself hanging out at the event.

Rebecca was very happy with all the fashion bloggers and editors snapping her photo I swear every 5 minutes!

Ok, just had to take a shot of these yummy mini cupcakes....as you can see the ones missing off the plate I had eaten already....opps, just love red velvet:)

The handbag display was setup to look like a library. What a cool, fresh take on shopping your favorite leather handbags. Shop the library of Minkoffs. ha.

Sling bags have been the new craze. Like I've said in some of my other postings, what a fantastic bag for city shopping hands free.

In the new Spring collection, Rebecca has some tie dye leather styles. She said that all the tie dying had been done in a small village in Ethiopia.

New Heartbeat style along side the BF Pouch which comes in an array of pop colors, solid, studded and perforated!

Every hour on the hour they did a raffle drawing to win a free handbag too! Even if you weren't present they were honest enough to call you for your winnings. It was a fun event that was great for mingling with bag lovers like myself! Check it out if you're in the area....
