I have a few of these metal candle holders that I've always wanted to hang with chains or something from my ceiling. I saw this picture and really liked the idea of using rope! Also, that it's floating a couple inches above the side table. Great room decor....must do in new apt stat!
My sis & I were at a Raincoats concert in Williamsburg, Brooklyn a couple weeks ago & the chick at the front door was wearing one of these shield necklaces. Of course as soon as I saw it, I HAD to ask her where she got it! She said her friend makes em and to look up her name. So here it is....
Might have to add this to a crafting night, eh Kris?
I was in Seattle and saw these in a boutique with my friend Shannon. They caught my eye & I immediately had to hold them. Great leather, clean zipper up the side and rough zig zag sole. It's pretty much the most perfect leather wedge for turning a simple outfit into something with an edge. Check them out.
As soon as I move into my new apt and bust out my sewing machine, this is the first project that will come to mind. I LOVE these leather tie-dye coin purses and clutches with double zippers. Super soft and unique for your cash, makeup, receipts or perhaps to use for everything! You can score these exact ones online or be creative and make one of your own. Ill update you when DIY nights come around.
WOW. Yet another knock off done well. So glad these are made so we can afford to look like we can afford top designer brands! Hip Hip Hooray! Now it's just getting our hands on a pair...I'll keep you posted if I scout em out:)
This winter is game on for large hoods. I want to find a cozy large hooded jacket that I can snuggle up into when I'm walking around the city. The style of this knit one I dig. On the lookout...
Found this website a while back and then my sister found it and pointed out the first bag pictured. Love fringe and always will. Brings a lil bit of flare to an outfit. There's some cool stuff on this site, check it out.
Who doesn't like thrift stores? Don't you just love the satisfaction of digging through your local thrift shop and finding the best find ever! I do. It makes my entire day when I find something so original and old school that is one of a kind. Even better when you pick it up and have a vision for a DIY project. My friend Alexis got me started on those. Pull these buttons off and replace em with gold ones, cut the bottom of the shirt and fray the edge, stud the collar and make it badass, cut the neck and open up the look of it. One of a kind made by you. Great feeling of being a designer for once, eh? So apparently you can shop goodwill online these days. Pretty nuts.
Just wanted to clarify that its a Sofia Coppola co-lab.
"The idea is that the city bag fits all of your things during the day. And that you can keep the clutch inside and slip it out at night. Or you can do what I do, which is leave the day bag at home, with your work behind, and then take the clutch out in the evening."
I love fashion. Always have, always will. This is just a peek into my mind of what I think about all things related to fashion. We live this world covered up in it, so take my hand and follow me into my fashion blanket.
