I was hungover a few weekends ago eating breakfast at this spot in the East Village and got up to use the bathroom before we ordered. When I walked out of the bathroom, there waiting to walk in was Chloe Sevigny. My eyes kinda popped open (even in their hungover state) with excitement to see her as I walked back to my table. She is always so stylish even on sunday fundays, ggggoooossssshhhh....she was wearing an old varsity jacket from her Connecticut High School with high waisted black jeans and a cropped black tee and zip up hoodie.

So anyways, I liked this pic of her in these Acne shield plated pants from their SS2010 collection. Pretty sick, right?

Last Thursday was the kickoff to the Rebecca Minkoff event at Henri Bendels for the next 2 weeks. Rebecca herself along with her team of marketing and sales guru's were there to celebrate and make sure everything was running smoothly. They were passing out champagne as well as the most delicious mini cupcakes you've ever had while you shopped and checked out her new Spring 2010 collection. Fashion bloggers and editors were snapping pictures and blogging live at the scene.

Rebecca was very happy with all the fashion bloggers and editors snapping her photo I swear every 5 minutes!

Ok, just had to take a shot of these yummy mini cupcakes....as you can see the ones missing off the plate I had eaten already....opps, just love red velvet:)

The handbag display was setup to look like a library. What a cool, fresh take on shopping your favorite leather handbags. Shop the library of Minkoffs. ha.

Sling bags have been the new craze. Like I've said in some of my other postings, what a fantastic bag for city shopping hands free.

In the new Spring collection, Rebecca has some tie dye leather styles. She said that all the tie dying had been done in a small village in Ethiopia.

New Heartbeat style along side the BF Pouch which comes in an array of pop colors, solid, studded and perforated!

Every hour on the hour they did a raffle drawing to win a free handbag too! Even if you weren't present they were honest enough to call you for your winnings. It was a fun event that was great for mingling with bag lovers like myself! Check it out if you're in the area....

Eagles, leather, khaki, buckles, rust, camo, fatigue green, pins, guns, chains, belts....the list goes on for the military look thats rocking right now. Just saw this large eagle pin on Gilt and admired it as well as this chicks leather holster looking thing across her body. Just love the look! All the tops designers new collections have a bit of military style going too. Its just a revolving door of it, never goes out of style. Thought this military remade bag was pretty cool too....whether for your laptop or your boyfriend to carry. xx

Jimmy Choo York Leather Motorcycle Boots. Would you have ever thought Choo?? Love em. Saw these babies on a young chick last night when I was out. Just looked up the price tag, wowsers $1,195! Her Daddy must have helped her with those! But needless to say, they did look fantastic and wore out. Apparently they are bunny fur lined as well. Shih, can I say neeeeeed more?

Everywhere you turn in the city, there it is. I know its the way to play it safe, but it also looks pretty freakin cool. Comfortable, easy, mindless when getting dressed in the morning, slimming, the list goes on. Our eye always goes to black. Gotta love it.
